本卦象﹕
兌，亨。利貞。
兌為澤之上卦、下卦均陽爻居中，因爻居外，為外柔內剛的中庸之道，
令人喜悅且屬正當的愉悅；倘過之，則反成阿諛奉承，終難免有所悔恨。
兌亦象徵少女的歡欣、喜悅，或朋友互助交談、討論、學習，彼此獲益之欣喜。
意謂著凡事順天道、應民情，則人人均能感恩、喜悅而忘卻辛勞、
不怕奉獻與犧牲，努力 進取，勤奮向上。
初爻﹕
和兌。吉。
和合之時，可望和平。
二爻﹕
孚兌。吉，悔亡。
開運之兆。受人信賴，卻多誘惑。
三爻﹕
來兌。凶。
別有居心之人接進。要注意巧言令色，自己言辭也要很小心，最好改變方針。
四爻﹕
商兌未寧，介疾有喜。
易忘自己的本份。結束時吉。
五爻﹕
孚于剝。有厲。
三心二意會失敗。有被騙之虞，要特別注意。
六爻﹕
引兌。
不可人云亦云。可獲得益友。豪奢者將受人重傷。要注意爭論。

Joyousness that is weighed is not at peace.
After ridding himself of mistakes a man has joy.
Nine in the fifth place means:
Sincerity toward disintegrating influences is dangerous.
Six at the top means:
Seductive joyousness.
