損

本卦象﹕
損，有孚，元吉。旡咎。可貞。利有攸往。曷之用。二簋可用亨。
下卦兌澤主動，發自內心的喜悅；上卦艮山主靜而不動；即除去私心而不動， 發自內心的歡喜以修養之卦象；意謂為了達到崇高的理想、目標，必須拋棄私慾， 不改初衷、志節的向前推進，貫徹到底；同時要誠心誠意，如拜神以二， 神亦能接受。

初爻﹕
已事遄往，旡咎。酌損之。
徬徨不知所以然而敗。為人服務。

二爻﹕
利貞。征凶。弗損，益之。
停止較好，進則敗。

三爻﹕
三人行，則損一人。一人行，則得其友。
三人不利，二人則可。不要奢望過多。可獲得助力者。

四爻﹕
損其疾。使遄有喜。旡咎。
如果能及早注意災禍將至的話，可大事化小。

五爻﹕
或益之。十朋之龜弗克達。元吉。
有出乎意料的喜事。

六爻﹕
弗損，益之。旡咎。貞吉。利有攸往。得臣旡家。
不可流於私利。可得信用之時，不妨前進。

英文﹕Sun / Decrease

Decrease combined with sincerity
Brings about supreme good fortune
Without blame.
One may be persevering in this.
It furthers one to undertake something.
How is this to be carried out?
One may use two small bowls for the sacrifice.
At the foot of the mountain, the lake:
The image of Decrease.
Thus the superior man controls his anger
And restrains his instincts.

Nine at the beginning means: Going quickly when one's tasks are finished Is without blame. But one must reflect on how much one may decrease others.
Nine in the second place means: Perseverance furthers. To undertake something brings misfortune. Without decreasing oneself, One is able to bring increase to others.
Six in the third place means: When three people journey together, Their number decreases by one. When one man journeys alone, He finds a companion.
Six in the fourth place means: If a man decreases his faults, It makes the other hasten to come and rejoice. No blame.
Six in the fifth place means: Someone does indeed increase him. Ten pairs of tortoises cannot oppose it. Supreme good fortune.
Nine at the top means: If one is increased without depriving others, There is no blame. Perseverance brings good fortune. It furthers one to undertake something. One obtains servants But no longer has a separate home.
